I was born in 1955 on the Isle of Wight .I studied at Kingston Poly gaining a BA hons in fine art sculpture in1978. This was followed by a Southern Arts Council Bursary to set up studio in St Helens Isle of Wight. Doubts about the value of my work lead me to divert into to commercial fishing for five years to 1983 followed short spell Freshwater Crayfish farming. This was followed by 25 years in the commercial property industry, However once the children were born , I really wanted to paint them, art was back. Since then by work has been almost entirely figurative.
Along the way several personal builds/designs include the houseboat where we currently live and work.
